Thomas B. Fore
Chief Executive Officer
A seasoned entrepreneur and real estate development executive, Mr. Fore brings over 25 years of extensive expertise to his role as CEO of Sora Ventures. His career is highlighted by a profound knowledge in public-private partnerships and structured finance, demonstrating a keen ability to lead significant urban development projects. Notably, Thomas spearheaded the Rowan Boulevard Project, an acclaimed 27-acre, $400 million mixed-use initiative in collaboration with Rowan University and the town of Glassboro, New Jersey. Furthermore, he directed the development of The University Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina, a 22-acre mixed-use venture valued at $250 million. His comprehensive experience encompasses land assemblage, entitlement processes, financing, construction, development, property management, and operations. At Sora Ventures, Thomas is instrumental in shaping the corporate strategy, overseeing structured financing, and guiding real estate development operations. He is a proud alumnus of Towson University, having graduated in 1991.
William H. Waldrop
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. William Waldrop brings over 32 years of invaluable experience to Sora, with a diverse background in service and technology sectors. As the CFO of Tiderock Companies, the parent entity of Sora Ventures, his expertise significantly contributes to the firm’s financial strategy and operations. His entrepreneurial journey includes co-founding EVIO Inc., a publicly traded analytical testing company with a presence across five states and Canada, where he served as Chairman and CEO, where he led multiple business acquisitions and expansion. Prior to his tenure at EVIO, Mr. Waldrop was at the helm of Newport Entertainment Group as CEO, and was President and COO of College Partnership. His extensive experience is further enriched by his time at Verizon Wireless, where he was a senior manager responsible for overseeing the National Retail Distribution Strategy. Mr. Waldrop’s academic credentials include an MBA from the University of Southern California and a BS from California State University, Long Beach.
Doug Nicoll
Vice President Business Development
Doug Nicoll brings vast expertise in residential and master-planned community development, with involvement of more than 10 projects and over 2,500 lots developed.
Doug has held various strategic roles, from landscape architecture and land planning to high-level positions in land acquisition and development. His tenure as Managing Partner at JADES Land Company and Director of Acquisition at HIC Land in South Carolina showcases his adeptness at managing significant land deals, driving investments, and spearheading projects across key markets in the Southeastern U.S.
At Sora Ventures, his strategic insight and leadership continue to steer the company toward exceeding its development and financial objectives.
Doug holds a BS in Ornamental Horticulture from the University of Delaware Valley and a BS in Landscape Architecture from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
